1. What software package does CompuSteel use?
   We use the SDS/2 system for ALL of our details. We have been using this software since 1989. We feel that it offers the most detailing power and features of all the packages on the market.
   
2. What size projects can CompuSteel detail?
   We can detail projects of virtually any size. With 17 SDS/2 systems we can create projects as quickly as anyone in the country.
   
3. Can CompuSteel provide design calculations?
   SDS/2 designs all connections based on the AISC requirements. We can produce printed calculations for all connections if required.
   
4. Can CompuSteel provide Engineer stamped drawings?
   Although we don't have an onsite Civil Engineer we are affiliated with several firms that can stamp drawings in almost all of the 50 states.
   
5. Can CompuSteel transmit files via the internet?
   We can and do transmit electronic files on a regular basis. We can send files in various formats, as required by the project fabricator. We are currently using a full T1 connection which allows for quick transfer of files.
   
6. Can CompuSteel archive jobs to CDrom?
   Yes! We can output to many formats. Currently the most popular format is PDF. We can generate erection and detail drawings in the PDF format. This allows virtually universal usage of the drawings. Almost everyone can view and print PDF files.
