DataCalc - The Detailers Calculator - Lightening Fast Calculations
The top of the calculator is a database with all of the detailer information listed for
all of the steel
shapes. This database can be user modified as required and has a search engine to quickly
locate
the shapes you need.
When given the radius and any one of the other variables the ArcCalc will quickly find the
missing information. The ArcCalc will then retain the radius and solve the missing
information by
inputting any one item.
The BevelCalc will solve for the missing information by using any two variables. Then it
will
retain the angle and give the information requested by inputting any one of the known
variables.
The Ft/In Calc is exactly as shown, it will add, subtract, divide, multiply in feet and
inch format. It
will retain the last calculation allowing you to chain dimensions. All input is handled
using the
numeric keypad, allowing you to keep your fingers in one place! The period becomes the
space
key.
All four calculators can be moved around the screen to suit your own tastes. The colors in
the
individual boxes can be changes per your personal preference. You can move from one box to
another using the Alt key, without losing the data in any box! As an added bonus this
package
includes additional programs that calculate stairs and braces by inputting dimensions
shown on the
design drawings. We are full-time detailers that have been using this program daily since
1989.
This is the only program for the PC that does all the calculations and finds the steel
shapes
required by the detailer on a daily basis! This program can be used on a low end XT
computer or a
high powered windowed Pentium. This program was written by CompuSteel detailing and in the
past has sold for up to $500.00 each with written documentation. We are now offering it
