CompuSteel is a leading steel detailing business located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We offer a product surpassed by none other. Our reputation for excellence is second to none. CompuSteel has been providing a quality product under this trade name for 19 years. Our founder has 33 years experience in the steel fabrication industry. CompuSteel uses the SDS/2 steel detailing system. This software package allows us to create steel details quickly and accurately. This system details structural connections using the criteria established by the A.I.S.C. providing for properly detailed connections. We have been using SDS/2 since 1989 to create 100% of our details! CompuSteel projects a professional image. We communicate daily with Engineers and Architects within the industry. We handle all aspects of the steel detailing process from problem solving design drawings to shop savings through smart material usage. We have a connection Engineer on site to evaluate and provide fabricator friendly connections. We can stamp connections when required by our customers!
